JOOP 2025: Ten honours from Tokyo

This year’s Japan Olive Oil Prize (JOOP), Asia’s most respected competition for extra virgin olive oil, brought extraordinary news from Tokyo: Trebbio’s oils were awarded across the board, with Leccio del Corno emerging as a standout.

The competition is known not only for its professional standards, but also for its focus on educating Japanese consumers and connecting exceptional producers with key partners in Japan’s growing premium olive oil market.

At the 2025 edition, our monovarietal 100% Leccio del Corno received an exceptional six distinctions:

  • 1st Best of Monovarietals

  • 1st Best of Organic

  • 1st Best of Strong Intensity

  • Best of JOOP 2025

Meanwhile, Subtle & Harmonious, our elegant medium blend, received:

  • 2nd Best of Blends
