The Tre Foglie distinction is the highest recognition granted in Gambero Rosso’s annual Oli d’Italia guide, awarded only to oils that demonstrate exceptional harmony, complexity, and fidelity to variety and terroir. Each year, the guide’s expert tasters evaluate hundreds of Italian extra virgin olive oils across all regions through blind tastings, highlighting those that exemplify the finest in national production.
