TWO SILVER AND ONE BRONZE AT AVPA IN PARIS
Trebbio’s oils continue to gain international recognition, this time in Paris at the 2025 AVPA World Edible Oils Competition, where we proudly received two Silver “Médaille Gourmet” awards and one Bronze in the highly competitive Intense Green Fruity category.
Among the honoured oils were our Leccino monovarietal and Subtle & Harmonious blend, both awarded Silver Medals, recognised for their refined intensity, balance, and expression of freshness. Our Leccio del Corno monovarietal received a Bronze Medal, celebrating its bold aromatic structure and distinctive Tuscan character.
Now in its 22nd year, the AVPA (Agence pour la Valorisation des Produits Agricoles) competition has become a benchmark in the world of edible oils. With over 400 entries from more than 20 countries, it brings together the very best in global olive oil production, judged by expert panels chaired by leading figures such as Christian Pinatel of France’s Technical Center for Olive Cultivation and Jean-Pierre Cassagne, renowned chef and culinary ambassador.
Unlike standard competitions, AVPA offers a more nuanced classification system, allowing a deeper expression of traditional and terroir-based profiles across categories like Intense, Medium, and Light Green Fruity as well as Ripe Fruity and Old-Fashioned Oils. Trebbio’s performance in the Intense Green Fruity category reflects not only the quality of our oils but also our dedication to biodynamic farming and careful craftsmanship from grove to bottle.
To be recognised in Paris - alongside oils from some of the most established regions in the world - is both humbling and deeply affirming. We thank AVPA for continuing to elevate the art of olive oil, and we’re grateful to be part of this international dialogue on taste, tradition, and excellence.
